About Ballie

Ballie is Samsung's round yellow home robot. It rolls on three wheels and is small enough to move between rooms like a bowling ball with cameras.

Samsung demos show it controlling lights and appliances through SmartThings, checking on pets, and projecting workouts or video calls onto walls and floors with a built-in 1080p projector. Google Gemini powers natural voice chat in recent prototypes.

Samsung once aimed for US and Korea launches around summer 2025, but press reports in 2026 say the consumer version is shelved. Samsung now treats Ballie as an internal test platform, not a product you can order.

HomeBotRadar still tracks Ballie because it shows where mobile home AI and projection could go. Price, weight, and battery numbers here are mostly unconfirmed from demos, not a retail spec sheet.
