MICRODUCK
LIMITED
Pollen Robotics25 cm walking duck biped from Pollen Robotics with 15 motors, a grasping beak, and a $399 pre-order for Christmas 2026.

About Microduck
Twenty-five centimeters, a waddle, and a beak that can pick things up. That is Microduck, Pollen Robotics' second consumer robot after Reachy Mini. It is built to move: walk, sit, crouch, roller-skate, fall, and get back up. It does not talk in words. Each unit gets its own little creature voice the first time it wakes up.
Pollen's Bordeaux team, now Hugging Face's robotics group, opened pre-orders on August 27, 2026 at $399 before tax and shipping. The store lists Cream, Graphite, Lavender, and Sky shells. First deliveries are aimed at before Christmas 2026 in the US, Canada, the EU, the UK, Norway, Switzerland, Japan, and South Korea. A gamepad ships in the box so you can drive it before writing code.
Official specs: 15 motors, 780 g, a front camera, 8×8 time-of-flight LiDAR, two IMUs, mics, speaker, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and two NFC antennas. Compute is a Rockchip RK3566 with an on-board AI accelerator, 1 GB RAM, and 32 GB storage. The pack is a removable NP-F550 camera battery, about one hour. Software for control, simulation, and reinforcement learning is open source today. The plastic and boards are not.
This is a desk-and-floor trainer for physical AI, not a chore humanoid and not a finished family companion like EMO. Compare it with Reachy Mini if you want Pollen's talking desk kit, or Loona if you want a wheeled pet that already ships.
