About Reachy Mini
Reachy Mini is a compact open-source robot from Pollen Robotics, now part of Hugging Face. You assemble the kit in about two to three hours, then program it in Python to move its 6-DoF head, spin its body, and wiggle two antenna ears while a 120° camera and four-mic array capture the room.
Two SKUs share the same mechanical design. Reachy Mini Lite ($299) tethers to your Mac, Linux, or Windows PC over USB for development. The wireless Reachy Mini ($449) adds an onboard Raspberry Pi CM4, Wi-Fi, IMU, and a 12.8 Wh LiFePO4 battery so it can run standalone demos without a laptop attached.
Launch software includes a web dashboard, MuJoCo simulation, 15+ ready-made behaviors, and Hugging Face Spaces apps for conversation, hand tracking, and radio playback. Hardware, firmware, and SDK are Apache 2.0 open source. Orders ship through hf.co/reachy-mini and authorized resellers such as Seeed Studio.
HomeBotRadar tracks Reachy Mini for makers and educators who want a buyable embodied-AI desk platform. Compare it with Reachy 2 if you need full humanoid arms for lab research, or with EMO and Vector 2.0 if you want a finished consumer companion with no soldering.
