About Melody
Melody is Realbotix's named M-Series character, unveiled at CES 2025 as an open, modular upper-body humanoid for companionship and front-of-house interaction. Unlike the wheeled F-Series Aria, the M-Series is stationary from the waist down and ships in seated, standing, or desktop (thighs-up) configurations. Dynamixel P-Series servos drive smoother gestures, and the platform packs into suitcase-sized cases for travel between venues.
Materials covering the platform list 39 degrees of freedom, interchangeable paneled body parts and faces (male, female, or custom), eye-embedded micro-cameras for eye contact and object recognition, and AI-agnostic software that can run Realbotix companionship AI or third-party stacks such as ChatGPT. Press demos also highlight all-day plug-in power from a standard outlet so hospitality and event greeters need not depend on a short battery window.
There is no consumer checkout. Realbotix's former public robots page now 404s. Orders go through sales contact (sales@realbotix.com or the corporate contact page). The company's lineup page lists the M-Series from $135,000. That matches the December 2025 management report. Older press had cited about $95,000. HomeBotRadar tracks Melody for buyers comparing Realbotix's travel-ready greeter platform against full-bodied Aria and other six-figure companions such as UWORLD U1.
