CORLEO

CORLEO is Kawasaki Heavy Industries' four-legged off-road personal mobility vehicle. It merges motorcycle chassis ideas with legged robotics so a rider can traverse mountains and rough ground where tires struggle. Control is mainly by shifting body weight, like horseback riding, with machine support for beginners.

Kawasaki showed CORLEO as a concept at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. In December 2025 it launched a president-reporting SAFE ADVENTURE team to commercialize the platform, targeting on-site mobility at Expo 2030 Riyadh and consumer-facing commercialization around 2035. A riding simulator is planned for about 2027, with motion data aimed at gaming and e-sports too.

Power comes from a hydrogen canister in the rear that feeds a hydrogen engine up front to generate electricity for the legs.
