UNITREE G1

The Unitree G1 is a compact humanoid about 132 cm tall (standing). It is lighter and less expensive than many other human-shaped robots, which makes it popular with students, developers, and early adopters.

It can walk, balance, and move its arms. The base G1 does not support secondary development; EDU variants add SDK/ROS-style development, optional dexterous hands, and higher joint counts (up to about 43 DoF). Some people experiment with home helper ideas, even though the G1 is mainly sold as a research and education platform.

Unitree lists the standard G1 from $13,500 (tax and shipping excluded) on unitree.com and the UniStore shop. The shop cart is live but units are frequently backordered. EDU pricing is quote-only via sales. Battery life is about two hours per charge. Arm load is about 2 kg on the base model and about 3 kg on EDU.
