XPENG IRON

You cannot buy XPENG IRON today. On September 8, 2026, XPENG said a Guangzhou production line is commissioned and a unit walked off it without a remote operator. Mass production is targeted by the end of 2026. First jobs are the company's own stores and campuses. China and overseas deliveries are planned for 2027. Homes come after retail and service work, not before.

It is a person-shaped robot with two legs, two arms, and a fully enclosed flexible lattice XPENG treats as both look and padding. The September English release lists 76 degrees of freedom across the body and 21 in each hand, plus three in-house Turing AI chips rated up to 2,250 TOPS so the Physical AI model can run on the robot. November 2025 AI Day used 82 degrees of freedom, 22 per hand, and 3,000 TOPS. We follow the production-line note for the current hardware.

XPENG talks about conversation, a human-like walk, and a later companion role. Near-term work is showroom tours and campus tasks. Height, weight, battery hours, payload, and walking speed are not in the September release. Press figures around 173 cm and 65 to 70 kg conflict, so they stay off the spec table.
